Kickoff our summer contest with a library block party! Join us outside the library for a Bounce House, free hot dogs, games, and more. Celebrate with us and sign up for our summer contest “Build a Better World” too.

The Alexandria Park Board hosted a park clean-up day at Beulah Park Saturday morning to prepare for spring and summer seasons. Everyone had a blast connecting with and helping our local community.

In celebration of April being Jazz Appreciation month. We will be having a saxophone quartet for your listening pleasure. ‘IJO Sax Quartet,’ is a part of the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra.

Books & Brews is a concept created by an establishment of the same name in Indianapolis, you should visit if given the chance. We have started a book club and decided to pick different genres every month. Didn’t read a book this month? No worries, we’ll discuss our favorites. It’s a place where a working mom can come and discuss fabulous stories, and to pick up some good recommendations. 

This coming meeting we have decided to choose women authors for Women’s History Month.

I (Ashley) will be challenging myself with reading a romance! ‘Breathless,’ by Beverly Jenkins. Can I handle the heat? I let you know Monday.
